Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas. Scholarly competence in general Church History, fluency in a spoken language other English, and lived experience with global Christian communities in inter-cultural or ecumenical settings. Full-time, tenured or tenure-track appointment, with rank negotiable. The appointee will teach courses in Global Christianity, Mission Studies, general Church History, and immersion courses in the Global Theological Education Program in the various degree programs of Perkins School of Theology, and will also teach M.A. and Ph.D. students in the Graduate Program in Religious Studies of Dedman College.
